Dear Members of GenArchivist,
In alignment with the collective consensus of our community, we have established the new platform, genarchivist.com, as our definitive hub for discussions centered around Genetics and Anthropology. This platform will serve as the primary venue for our ongoing discourse and archival activities.
On October 3rd, a poll was conducted to allow our community to choose between remaining on our previous site and migrating to the new one. The latter option, which affords our staff greater control over site customizations, garnered resounding support. The poll concluded on September 2nd, with an overwhelming 99 votes in favor of the new site, while 14 members opted to remain here. An additional 47 members expressed their contentment with the chosen destination.
We want to emphasize that no content from this site has been deleted; all threads and posts have been safely preserved and can be readily accessed. To retrieve this data, simply reach out to a moderator or administrator on the new site, or join the Discord room "Anthrogenica Refugium."
For those who have recently discovered this community, we kindly invite you to visit genarchivist.com and create an account, as the majority of our members have already migrated. As of today, November 3rd, 2023, the new site boasts 2,924 posts across 205 threads, with a thriving community of 319 registered members.
Please be aware that this forum is now "Disabled" and will no longer receive new posts. Upon your arrival at the new platform, we kindly request that you acquaint yourself with the community guidelines and Terms of Service. We maintain a high standard of discussion, and we do not tolerate disrespectful behavior, trolling, or derogatory comments. We encourage thoughtful and respectful engagement in all discussions, questions, and assertions.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our members who have assisted both me and the Staff in making crucial decisions to nurture our community's health and facilitate continuous growth. Let us remain united on this journey.
Now, please proceed to genarchivist.com and make yourself at home. We hope you find your experience there enriching and enjoyable.
Best regards,
Albruic
